i really liked this place. the room was very clean and spacious. it offered a gorgeous view of alfama from its windows! the staff members were all friendly. the breakfast had plenty of options. the location was perfect and quiet..
the mirror in the bathroom definitely needed resilvering. it looked quite old.

the breakfast buffet included fresh pastries, various breads, and a selection of local cheeses. i could also get hot dishes like scrambled eggs, bacon, and grilled tomatoes. fresh juices and coffee were available.

the room featured a large comfortable bed with crisp linen. it also had a writing desk with a comfortable chair. the bathroom included a rainfall shower and complimentary toiletries. the air conditioning worked perfectly.

the location was good. the staff seemed helpful. i had a nice large room .
the reception did not have good control at all. i asked for a receipt for our stay and they gave us another guest's receipt, with all their information on it. the breakfast service was not good and it seemed as if they were understaffed so that things were often missing at the buffet.
